Preet Ramanuj – Director
Preet comes from a technology sales and product management background, initially working for a fast–growing technology company where he worked his way up to a senior role.
In 2010 he took his first steps into the recruitment industry. Initially joining a small company on their way up, Preet was brought in to further grow the contracts division and help it become as strong a revenue generator as the permanent division.
In 2012 he was headhunted to help a recruitment business making a name for itself and looking to take the next step on their journey. This is where he spent most of his career, working his way up to Team Leader of the technology team and along the way helping the company as it went on to win numerous awards & recognition, double in size & profit and establish a global presence across multiple brands. It was also here he met his AJ Ltd business partner Oliver Rostron.
Outside of work, Preet has 3 key passions. Travelling the world, enjoying a fine whisky and watching his beloved Liverpool Football Club.
Oliver Rostron – Director
Oli began cutting his teeth in the executive search market in 2011. This was followed by a spell working for one of the largest UK recruitment firms before moving along with colleagues to help form and build a niche executive search firm, where he developed a keen understanding of the benefits that can be provided by a niche, focused and agile talent company.
In 2016, Oli and Preet developed the idea of building and growing a branded search firm which could cater for niche, fast growing industries across multiple countries / continents.
AJ was formed with a focus on the Legal, Technology & Innovation markets.
Outside of work, Oli is learning how to develop in Python, he enjoys the occasional holiday, along with playing tennis and hockey regularly.
